Code of Conduct

edTechCRT along with its founding organization, The Proof Group, is committed to providing harassment-free experiences including public channels, private channels and direct messages, for participants to connect, collaborate, and share ideas. All participants have a right to a safe and welcoming environment regardless of gender expression and identity, physical appearance, race, body size, ethnicity, disability, religion, age, sexual orientation or any other attribute.

Honest and spirited dialogue is encouraged, and opposing viewpoints are welcome but we do not tolerate harassment of participants in any form. Harassment may include, but is not limited to:

*Offensive or demeaning verbal comments, collateral material, and social media posts that demean, intimidate, threaten, or otherwise uninvitedly target an individual.

  • Harassing photography or recording.
  • Gratuitous or off-topic sexual images or behavior in spaces where they're not appropriate.
  • Unwelcome sexual attention.
  • Deliberate intimidation.
  • Stalking or following - online or in the physical world
  • Bullying, teasing, or diminishing someone's tech prowess or technical choices
  • Publication of non-harassing private communication
  • Threats of violence.
  • Sustained disruption of edTechCRT community resources

Participants engaging in any of these actions will be asked to stop all offending behavior and must comply immediately. Failure to comply could result in expulsion from the group and exclusion from future edTEchCRT activities.

Anyone feeling unwelcome, threatened, intimidated, or afraid is encouraged to reach out to a conduct contact (below). Participants witnessing harassment are obliged to report it. Who to Contact

What Happens If You Report a Violation to Us

First, we will listen.

Then, we will help you to determine the options that we have based on the situation. We will also document and retain the details to assure trends of behavior are uncovered across locations.

Lastly, we will follow the situation to a resolution where you feel safe and you can remain anonymous if you wish to be. Acknowledgements
